"A Pale Tour Named Death" was a concert tour by the Swedish rock band Ghost. Before the tour had been announced, two arena shows in Los Angeles and New York City had been announced. The official tour was announced on 11 June 2018. It supported the album Prequelle and the EP Seven Inches of Satanic Panic. The tour began on 9 September 2018 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England and concluded on 3 March 2020 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico. A titled leg named The Ultimate Tour Named Death went from September 13 to December 19, 2019
This tour marked the first tour after the royalties dispute with the band's creator and the Nameless Ghouls, which was eventually resolved. During the tour, it introduced a new character named Papa Nihil during the live performance of "Miasma" where he played the saxophone. At the final show of the tour, known as A Final Gig Named Death, Cardinal Copia was promoted to Papa Emeritus IV. As the tour ended, the widespread COVID-19 pandemic had begun. Due to Prequelle's themes of the Plague, it was coined that "Ghost predicted" the pandemic. The tour was succeeded by the Imperatour.

At the final show of the tour, known as A Final Gig Named Death, Cardinal Copia was promoted to Papa Emeritus IV by being changed into his papal robes. Papa Nihil passed away during the saxophone performance, "Miasma". As the tour ended, the widespread COVID-19 pandemic had begun.
